Subscribe and receive every month a Sip & Learn wine tasting box containing 2 bottles of wine and an educational booklet.

Options

In order to maximise the benefits of your Sip & Learn subscription, we recommend that you follow the program for the whole year.
The easiest option is the auto-renewal subscription. Enjoy receiving your box month after month, pause it or stop it whenever you wish.

You also have the option to buy a box as a one off (by buying an auto-renewal subscription and stopping it before it renews) or pay upfront for a 3, 6, 12 months subscription. The longest your subscription, the more benefits you get.

A Sip and Learn subscription also makes an amazing gift, for wine lovers who will discover wines they won't find in their local shops to beginners who will enjoy learning and sipping.

All of the wines from the program can be ordered in cases of 6.

We include a wine tasting notes card with each order so you can enjoy your wine with friends and teach them what you have been learning.

Subscription

  • How does the subscription to sip and learn work?

    It’s very simple! Our wine expert, Sylvain, selects 2 bottles of wine a month which will demonstrate in the best way possible and help put into practice the educative information you will find within the booklet in your box.
    To summarise, every month, you receive a Sip and Learn box with 2 bottles of wine and a booklet with general knowledge about wine and specific information about the bottles in your box following the education programme we have created.
    There are different options for subscriptions - please see below for details.
  • What are the different subscription options?

    You can either buy a Sip and Learn box paying every month by choosing our ‘auto renewal’ option or decide you want to pay the totality of the amount upfront for 3, 6 or 12 months.
    With the auto-renewal option, you can cancel your subscription whenever you want from the first month. So if you only want to receive one box, place an order choosing the monthly recurring payment and cancel it after the first payment.

    By choosing the 3, 6 or 12 months option, the total amount will be due when you subscribe (For example £180 + £30pp for a 6 month subscription).

    These options are also available as gifts. Choose the 1, 3, 6 or 12 months option and choose to print a gift card, receive a beautiful gift card or directly send the boxes to your loved one.
  • How can I cancel my subscription?

    You can cancel your auto-renewal subscription at anytime by login into your Sip and Learn account and choosing the ‘pause or cancel my subscription’ option.
    f you have subscribed on the 16th of March your payment will be due to renew on the 16th of April. By logging in at any time before or on the 15th of April you will be able to cancel all further payment and won’t receive the next Sip and Learn box. You can also decide to pause your sub- scription for a fixed amount of time (for example if you are going away for a couple of weeks or do- ing a post-Christmas detox). Your subscription will start again as normal after the amount of time you have chosen has gone by.
  • Why have you selected these wines?

    Sylvain, our wine expert, has created a one year program for you to learn the basics about wine. In order to demonstrate each topic or theme, he has carefully selected 2 bottles per month. In each booklet, we explain why the wine from this particular vineyard has been selected.
    Sylvain has extensively travelled and tasted thousands of wines so we are very proud of each se- lected bottle and think they offer amazing value for money.
  • Can I only buy the box for one month?

    Of course you can. You can buy each box as a one off by choosing the monthly recurring option and choosing the specific box you want. If you only want one box, don’t forget to cancel your auto- renewal payment before it renews. To do so, log into your account and cancel your subscription.
  • Which box will I receive?

    As we have built a one year program, all subscriptions start with the first box unless you advise us otherwise. You will then receive the following boxes to follow the entire program.
    If you would prefer to start your subscription with another box or pick up again from where you have left, both options are available in the check out process.
  • Can I change my 3,6 or 12 month subscription to the auto-renewal option?

    Unfortunately, we can't change the subscription option once the payment has been taken. However, once your subscription has expired, you will be able to choose the auto-renewal option when renewing your subscription.
  • Will I receive my next box automatically?

    Yes! If you have chosen a monthly auto-renewal subscription, you can sit back and relax. Your subscription will renew automatically so you don't need to do a thing. As long as you don't stop your subscription, you will receive your monthly Sip and Learn box.
  • Where can I find information about the wines I have received?

    All information will be in the booklet in your box as well as available online in the shop area by selecting the wine you are interested in. If you would like more information about some wines, please do not hesitate to get in touch on our Facebook page, on Twitter or directly by emailing Sylvain ( sylvain@sipandlearn.co.uk ).
  • Can I buy more of the wines I have received?

    Of course you can! In the shop area, search for the wine you want to order. As long as it is in stock, you can order it by cases of 6 bottles.
  • I didn't receive the same box as another subscriber, is that normal?

    Yes, as our boxes are following a program, it will depend on where you both are in the program and when and with which box you started.

Delivery

  • What are the different delivery options?

    Your Sip and Learn box will be delivered straight to your home by courier. We offer 2 options: normal delivery for £5/month or one day delivery (if ordered before 3pm) for £8/delivery.
  • When will I receive my Sip and Learn box?

    We will ship your Sip and Learn box maximum 48 hours after we have processed your payment so it should be with you in 3 to 5 working days after you have ordered it.
  • Can I modify my delivery address during the subscription period?

    Of course!
    Please log in to your account and update the delivery address or contact our customer services at contact@sipandlearn.co.uk .
    If your box is already under way and you made a mistake in the delivery address, please contact us asap so we can try to redirect it. We can't promise it will be possible but we will do our best to help.
  • Do you deliver abroad?

    At the moment we only deliver to the UK. If you have specific requests please do get in contact with us ( contact@sipandlearn.co.uk ).
  • I haven't received my Sip and Learn box.

    Please make sure your subscription hasn't ran out by logging into your account on the website. You approximateive delivery date should be mentioned on the home page of your account and in the email confirming the shipping of your box.

    If you haven't received it, please get in contact so we can check the status of your delivery or resend the box if needed ( contact@sipandlearn.co.uk ).

Payment

  • What are the different payment options?

    You can pay with most debit cards (visa, Master Card or American Express) or using a Paypal account.
  • When will the money come out of my account?

    • For the auto-renewal subscription: the first month is taken when you place your order, subsequent monthly amount (£30 + £5 pp) will be taken from your account at the same time every month (if you ordered on the 20th of September the next payment will be due on the 20th of Oct, etc.).
      You have the option to stop your subscription at any time from the first month (the order you place will be the first month so if you then stop your subscription you will still receive the 1st month).
    • For the one off payment, gift subscriptions or 3,6 or 12 month subscription: the full amount is taken from your account when you place your order (for example for the 6 months subscription £210 will be taken from your account).
  • Can I update or change my payment details?

    If you have an auto-renewal subscription, our payment solution Paypal is holding your payment details and for security reasons we don't have any access to them.
    To update your payment details, the easiest way is to stop your running subscription and restart a new one from where you have left (you can select this option in the subscription process).
    If your card has expired, Paypal will automatically stop your subscription and you can then start a new one with your new card on our website by selecting the option to start from where you have left.
  • Oops, my debit card has expired, what should I do?

    No worries, Paypal will automatically stop your subscription so you can get a new one and pick up from where you have left.
  • Can I get a receipt or an invoice for my orders?

    Of course! Log in to your account, you will find all your receipts on the ‘My Invoices’ page.
  • The money has been taken from my account a second time but I only wanted to try Sip and Learn for 1 month.

    By choosing the auto-renewal option you pay the first month when you place your order and then recurring payments are taken every month.

    You can stop your subscription from the first month if you only want to receive one box or at any time 24h before your payment is due. You can do so by logging into your account and going to the ‘My Subscriptions’ tab. There, you can chose to stop or pause your subscription.

    To stop your subscription, you need to make sure you stop or pause your subscription at least 24 hours before your payment is due to renew, if you don’t want to receive the Sip and Learn box for the following month. (example: if you have subscribed on the 17th of January you need to stop your subscription before the 16th of February if you don’t want to receive the February box).
  • How to use a discount code? 

    To use a discount code you will need to add the products you wish to buy in your cart and then click on the 'my cart' label in the top right corner where you can input your discount code. You can then follow the normal checkout process. 

Gift

  • How does gift work?

    Sip and Learn makes a wonderful gift, to make sure you get the best experience for you and the lucky receiver, please make sure you chose the right gift option when choosing the subscription.

    You can then decide how you would like to gift the Sip and Learn subscription:

    • If it’s urgent, we will send you a gift voucher you can print in the order confirmation email. You can reprint it by logging in to your account and going to the ‘Gift’ section.
    • If you have a few days, chose to receive a beautiful paper gift voucher. It should be with you in 48 hours.
    • You can chose to gift the first box in person and for the receiver to receive the subsequent box- es. If you chose this option make sure you select ‘send me the first box’ and fill in all the address details for yourself and the receiver carefully. You will receive the shipping notification of the first box and the recipient will receive the subsequents notifications.
    • You can chose for the recipient to receive all the boxes at his or her address. In that case, we will make sure we send him an email to announce the delivery of a gift when it is shipped.
  • When will I or the recipient receive the first box?

    If you have bought a subscription as a gift, the first box will be shipped in the 48 hours following your order and will take 3 to 5 business days to be delivered.
    Subsequent boxes will be sent monthly on the same date.
  • What to gift on the D-day?

    You have several options depending on how much time in advance you have ordered the gift:

    • Immediate - print the gift voucher sent with your order confirmation email.
    • 48 hours - chose to receive a gift card, you will receive it by mail in 48hours.
    • 5 business days: receive the first box - chose ‘send me the first box’ when choosing the gift options.

    The 3 options are available in the gift buying process.
  • I have received a gift - How to redeem my gift card or gift voucher?

    Great, don’t panic, it’s very easy :)
    First you will have to make sure you have the gift voucher or card with you as you will need the gift code.
    Now go to http://sipandlearn.co.uk/redeem or click ‘Gift’ and select ‘Redeem a gift voucher’ and follow the process.
  • I have received a gift but have lost the card/voucher.

    No worries, contact the person who has sent you the gift, she will have the gift code in her order confirmation.

  • How can I end my subscription?

    To end or pause your subscription, log in to your account. Choose the ’My subscriptions’ tab and chose the subscription to cancel or pause.

    You will receive an email to confirm that your subscription has been ended or paused.
  • I can’t access my account

    If you are not sure about your login details:

    • you can check the login email address in the account creation email confirmation
    • if you can’t remember your password, you can chose the option ‘I have forgotten my password’ to set a new one

    If it's still not working, do not hesitate to contact us at contact@sipandlearn.co.uk
  • I have forgotten my password.

    No worries, you can reset your password by clicking on the ‘Forgot your password’ link in the ‘My account’ area.
  • How to use a discount code? 

    To use a discount code you will need to add the products you wish to buy in your cart and then click on the 'my cart' label in the top right corner where you can input your discount code. You can then follow the normal checkout process. 
  • How much time do you usually take to reply to emails?

    We do our best to reply personally to each of your emails as quickly as possible. Certain periods, particularly around Christmas time, Valentine’s day, Father or Mother’s day, can be very busy which may cause a slight delay in replies. We apologise in advance but please rest assure we are doing our best to reply to your emails as quickly as possible.
  • I have another problem

Order

  • How do I stop my subscription?

    If you have chosen the recurring payment option, you can stop your subscription at any time. Log in to your account and go to the ‘My Subscriptions’ tab. There, you can chose to pause or stop your subscription.
    You need to stop or pause your subscription at least 24 hours before your payment is due to renew if you don’t want to receive the Sip and Learn box for the following month. (example: if you have subscribed on the 17th of January you need to stop your subscription before the 16th of February if you don’t want to receive the next box).
  • I would like my account to be deleted

    That’s a sad news but no problem: please send us an email at contact@sipandlearn.co.uk. We will delete all your data so if you would like to keep receipt of payments, please make sure you print them before you contact us.
  • I have lost one of the booklet - can I find the information online?

    Not at the moment though you can find information about the wines on their product pages. If you wish to reorder a booklet, please contact us at contact@sipandlearn.co.uk.
  • Can I buy more of the wines I have received?

    Of course you can! In the shop area, search for the wine you want to order. As long as it is in stock, you can order it by cases of 6 bottles.
  • One of the bottle was broken or faulty!

    If the bottle was broken, please send us a picture of the broken bottles and the box at contact@sipandlearn.co.uk. We will make sure you receive a new one asap.

  • How much time do you usually take to reply to emails?
